| Fall Mountain NECAP Results for Fall 2009 |

The results of the Fall 2009 New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP) have been released by the NH Department of Education. Fall Mountain Regional School District gained 2 percentage points in reading to 73 percent proficient. Mathematics dropped three percentage points from last year, from 55 percent to 52 percent. Walpole Middle School saw strong gains in both Reading and Mathematics, gaining 5 and 6 percentage points, respectively. Charlestown Primary gained 8 percentage points in Reading. Fall Mountain Regional High School saw gains in Reading and Writing—2 percentage points. Writing NECAP results were only reported for 11th graders this year.
