Skills for Administrators, Managers and Directors


Administrators should:
  • Model and promote the frequent and effective use of technology in education
  • Provide learner-centered environments equipped with technology and learning resources to meet the individual and diverse needs of all learners
  • Allocate time, resources, and access to ensure ongoing professional growth in technology fluency and integration
  • Promote and model effective communication and collaboration using Google tools
  • Take a leadership role in support of the three-year technology plan to assure the achievement of learning goals for all stakeholders
  • Demonstrate the ability to export and manage spreadsheet data in order to analyze data, interpret results, and share findings 
  • Recruit and retain highly competent personnel who use technology creatively and proficiently
  • Promote, model, and establish policies for safe, legal, and ethical use of digital information and technology
  • Promote and model responsible social interactions within the school and the community
