PLT Academy

PLT ACADEMY INSTRUCTIONS

All staff members are required to complete these trainings annually. You will want to read the directions and use the links below to access these courses.
 
Required courses:
  • Bloodborne Pathogens- (PLT)
  • Bullying Awareness
  • Preventing Workplace Harassment and Discrimination
  • Preventing Slips, Trips and Falls

IF YOU ALREADY KNOW YOUR ACCOUNT
Go to http://members.municipalacademy.com/ to sign in. You then have to enroll into each course.


After you sign in
1) Click on Courses.   (They are listed alphabetically.)          
Choose Bloodborne Pathogens- (PLT) or Bullying Awareness or Preventing Workplace Harassment and Discrimination or Preventing Slips, Trips and Falls. 

(You might see two offering for the Bloodborne Pathogens course. You can select the one without -Healthtrust)

2) Click enroll for the course

3) Then go back to Courses, select another course and repeat the enrolling process.


IF YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN YOUR PASSWORD
If you forgot your password, here is the link to reset your password-  http://www.municipalacademy.com/login/forgot
You will receive an email to reset your password. However, the password reset email can take 15 minutes or longer to get to your inbox.


IF YOU ARE A NEW STAFF MEMBER

When you sign up, please use your ____@sau60.org email address and your work phone number. If you have difficulty with the process, you can click on Help on the sidebar. It has a tutorial to talk you through the sign up & enrollment process. 
 
2) You will receive a confirmation email with a link to enroll in a course.  You cannot log into the site until you receive this email.
Click on the link in the confirmation email to verify your sign in.
 
3) Click on Courses.   (They are listed alphabetically.)
Choose Bloodborne Pathogens- (PLT) or Bullying Awareness or Preventing Workplace Harassment and Discrimination or Preventing Slips, Trips and Falls.

Click enroll for the course
Then go back to Courses, select another course and repeat the enroll process.



COMPLETING A COURSE
After you have taken the course, you need to go back to the course start page and choose the quiz option.
Please print a certificate of completion and give it to your supervisor.
The confirmation can also be used as proof of attendance for professional development, if this applies to you.
