The Fall Mountain Regional School District School Board would like to share an important update regarding district leadership.

In accordance with NH RSA 194-C:5 II. (a) Each school administrative unit shall provide superintendent services to be performed as required by RSA 194-C:4. School districts shall not be required to have a superintendent and may assign these services to one or more administrative personnel working full or part-time; or such services may be independently contracted.

To support stability and continuity, our district will be moving forward with a Shared Leadership Model. This model brings together a team of district leaders who will work in close partnership to carry out the responsibilities typically provided by a superintendent. By emphasizing collaboration among all system leaders, we can make thoughtful and informed decisions that always keep students at the center.

The School Board will provide ongoing oversight of this model and will receive monthly updates from the Leadership Team at regularly scheduled board meetings.

This approach will ensure that we:

·      Meet all state and educational requirements.

·      Strengthen teamwork and shared decision-making.

·      Maintain openness and accountability with our community.

Above all, we remain committed to supporting our students, families, and staff, and to ensuring the smooth and successful operation of our schools.

There have been no changes to our established communication procedures. As always, communication should begin at the building level.

Please continue to contact 603-835-0006 x600 or email superintendent@sau60.org for communication intended for the leadership team.
